The program takes a ‘value-add approach’ in which all activities within the program are designed with the mission of adding direct value to the companies who participate.
Preparation: Accepted companies will work with accelerator coaches during workshops and company visits to prepare for the first days of acceleration. During this time, companies will
1) refine company pitches, 2) evaluate their business strategy using the ‘Technology To Market’ (T2M) planning tool, 3) create executive summaries necessary for outreach and introductions abroad, 4) conduct market analysis including customer profiling, 5) participate in educational sessions 6) prioritize specific needs and wants for company acceleration during the program duration.
Rehearsal Acceleration Camp: Expert consultants from the USA will engage with participant companies in a month long intensive consultancy. Companies will participate in business workshops and mentoring sessions with expert consultants and advisors from both Turkey and USA. Companies will be expected to participate in group sessions as well as 1 to1 breakout sessions during the program. The first part (8 weeks) of acceleration will be hosted in Ankara.
Mentoring: Participant companies will work with accelerator coaches to address company specific needs in preparation for the second part of Acceleration (USA visit). Companies will be expected to participate in weekly and bi-weekly meetings with accelerator coaches in order to ensure the goals of the participant companies are met.
Acceleration Camp USA: Companies will visit the USA and be hosted in second part of Acceleration. During the visit, participant companies will solidify relations with buyers, investors, and strategic partners while finalizing long-term future plans for increased business development and company growth. Additionally, companies will participate in mentoring workshops with expert consultants and strategic partners from the USA, as well as participate in networking events where companies will be encouraged to promote their company’s solution to a USA audience.
